Hayward Eugene Jones

Hayward Eugene Jones, age 74 of Ramseur, NC died Sunday, July 5, 2015 at Universal Health Care in Ramseur. Mr. Jones was born August 12, 1940 in Long Acre, W. VA. the son of Hayward Lipton and Edith Opal Friddley Jones. Hayward was a native of Fayette County, West Virginia, served our country as a US Navy Veteran during the Vietnam War and retired from Mannington Flooring in High Point. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by brothers, Robert and Jimmy Jones. He is survived by sons: James Jones and wife Lisa of Princeton, W. VA, Troy Jones and wife Tonia of Clarksville, TN; grandchildren: Tanner and Allison Jones both of Princeton, W. VA, Christopher and Brianna Jones both of Clarksville, TN; sisters: Betty Blosser of Cincinnati, OH, Sandra Davis and husband David of Oak Hill, W. VA; brother: John D. Jones and wife Sandra of Denton, NC. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 from 6 - 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro, NC.
