Harold Elmer Wolfe

Harold Elmer Wolfe, age 75, of 2263 Staleys Farm Rd., Asheboro died Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro. A graveside service with military honors will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Salisbury National Cemetery, 1601 Brenner Ave, Salisbury with Pastor Jonathan Shook officiating. Mr. Wolfe was a native of Plants, Ohio and a graduate of Southern Racine High School. He served in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict and made a career as an over-the-road truck driver. He is survived by his wife, Bernadette Lanor Wolfe, sons Perry Charles Wolfe, Harold Eugene Wolf of Germany, Bruce Edward Wolfe of Asheboro, Patrick Shawn Wolfe of Denton; daughters, Virginia Marie Wolfe, Louranne Yvonne Barclay of St. Petersburg, FL, Daniele Christine Stokes of Springhill, FL and Kelly Lynn Wolfe of the home; 21 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 25, 2009 from 6 - 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The family will also receive friends on Tuesday, May 26, 2009 from 4:00 PM until at his home.
