Harold Oetzel Davis

Harold Oetzel Davis, age 82, of Randleman died Saturday, January 24, 2015 peacefully at his home. Mr. Davis was born September 15, 1932 the son of Roy Oetzel and Barbara Evelyn Lewis Davis. Mr. Davis was a native of Columbus, GA and a member of First United Methodist Church in Randleman. He proudly served the State of North Carolina public schools in Lee, Chatham and Randolph counties before retiring in 1987. Harold was a veteran of the US Army serving in Korea from 1953 to 1955. He is survived by his wife: LaVerna "Lucky" Bell Davis, of the home, daughters:: Bonny Davis Groce and husband, Mike of Randleman, Deanne Leigh Fulkerson and husband, Dennis of Las Vegas, NV, Beth Crawford and her husband, Barry of Beech Mountain, NC and son: John Davis and his wife, JoJo of Nashville, TN; grandchildren: Savanna Newcomb of Nashville, TN, Jamie George of Las Vegas, NV and Annie Davis of Nashville, TN. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 27, 2015 from 4:00 - 6:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
