Harlean Millikan

Harlean Henderson Millikan, age 78, of Franklinville went to be with the Lord Friday, November 22, 2013 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Mrs. Millikan was born November 13, 1935 the daughter of Elbert and Bernice Dail Henderson. Mrs. Millikan was a native of Duplin County and a member of New Salem Baptist Church. Harlean was retired from Vesture Corp., in Asheboro. She was a lady of great faith, encouragement and inspiration to others. Harlean truly loved her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed. In addition to her parents, Harlean is preceded in death by her brothers, Allen and Ray Henderson; sister, Janice Cotner, niece, Teresa Staton and nephew, Douglas Henderson. She is survived by her husband of 59 years: Donald Millikan of the home, daughters: Glinda Kay Goodson and her husband Mark, Debbie Blakeley and her husband Freddy and Robin Bulla and her husband Marty; son: Donnie Millikan and his fiance Lisa, all of Franklinville; brother: Ronnie Henderson of Pleasant Garden; 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and 1 due in March. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 24, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral service will be held Monday, November 25, 2013 at 2:00 pm at New Salem Baptist, Old Greensboro Rd., Randleman with Pastor Phillip Tarlton officiating.
