Hanna Leora-Ruth Lambert

Hanna Leora-Ruth Lambert, age 17, of Randleman NC lost her courageous battle with ALS on October 22nd, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 21, 2000 in Randolph County. Hanna is survived by her loving parents Clint and Belinda Alcon Lambert; brother and wife Adam and Kristen Haithcock (children Kamden and Luke) of Franklinville, NC; brother and wife Adam and Amanda Lambert (children Callie and Carly) of Randleman, NC; grandparents: Larry and Francis Lambert of Randleman, NC; Roy and Carol Kearns of Asheboro, NC; the late William and Shirley Underwood Alcon of Asheboro, NC; and her cousins who were like a sister, Elisa Moore and Savannah Albright. We would like to thank all of her caregivers especially Aunt Kathi Sewell who was on this journey with us from the very beginning and Hanna's furry friend Abby who never left her side.

Hanna was a caring and giving young lady who loved the Lord. She was a member at Bailey's Grove Baptist Church and attended Bailey's Grove Baptist School where she was a rising senior. After graduation she planned to become a missionary. She was an avid dancer and loved the beach and fishing. Even though Hanna did not realize it she was an inspiration to many throughout her fight with ALS. Hanna's smile and positive attitude never faded, we hope this memory of her will continue in the hearts of everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

We would like to thank all of you that have supported us during this difficult time. We are forever grateful by the outpouring of love from our community, church, family and friends. With all your encouragement we feel that Hanna was able to spend her last days with us to the fullest. The road moving forward for us will be a difficult one but having such a supportive community will make it that much easier. This last year has been such a whirlwind for us and we regret that we have not been able to personally reach out to each and every one of you that have been there for us, there are so many of you that deserve our gratitude! The Lambert Family will receive friends at Pugh Funeral Home in Asheboro, NC Wednesday, October 25th from 6:00-8:30pm. The Funeral will be Thursday, October 26th at 3:00pm at Bailey's Grove Baptist Church, 1556 N. Fayetteville Street, Asheboro NC with Pastor Jonathan Shook, Rev. Michael Fulp and Pastor Chris Heppding. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park.
