H. Neal Connor

Horace Neal Connor, age 77, of 618 Worthville Street, Randleman died Saturday, December 31, 2011 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Mr. Connor was born March 2, 1934 the son of W. H. and Henrietta Jarrett Connor. Neal was a native of Asheboro and graduated from Grays Chapel High School in 1952. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a longtime member of Central Falls Baptist Church where he served as Deacon. He retired as a driver with Overnite Trucking Company. He is survived by his wife: Sue Lanier Connor; son and his wife: Curtis and Lynn Connor of Randleman, NC; son and his wife: Steve and Jill Connor of Sophia, NC; grandson and his wife: Andrew and Lindsey Connor of Randleman, NC; granddaughter: Nicole Connor of Greensboro, NC; grandsons: Matthew and Marcus Connor of Sophia, NC; and great-grandson: Lucas Connor. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 3, 2012 from 6 to 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral will be Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, Randleman with Rev. Gerald Hussey and Rev. Ernest Mangum officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
