ASHEBORO - Lillie Guynell Blackwell Hunt, age 80, of 356 W. Ward St., Asheboro died Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at Universal Health Care of Ramseur, Ramseur.Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 12, 2009 at 2:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Daniel Thames officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park.Mrs. Hunt was a native of Jonesville, SC, was retired from Acme-McCrary Hosiery and was formerly employed with the Press-Box at Randolph Mall. She was preceded in death by her sister, Ailen Davis and her great granddaughter, Anna Hunter. She is survived by her husband, William Boyd "Bill" Hunt; son, Ralph Blackwell and his wife Lorrie of Asheboro; grandchildren, Candy Hunter and her husband Ryan of Asheboro, Carla Hardee of Asheboro; great grandchildren, Jake Hunter and Madison Hardee both of Asheboro; step-grandchildren, Tripp Robinson and Tabitha Robinson both of Asheboro; sister, Elizabeth Crosby of Tallahassee, FL.The family will receive friends Friday, December 11, 2009 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, and other times at the home of Candy and Ryan Hunter, 758 Sawyersville Rd., Asheboro.
