Grover Dale Frisby

Grover Dale Frisby, age 56, of Asheboro died Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Thomasville Medical Center, Thomasville. A native of Randolph County, he was preceded in death by his father Reeves Frisby. He was a member of the Old Fashion Baptist Church and enjoyed being with his granddaughter, singing "Supper Time" with her, and singing Gospel music with his church family. Dale will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by one son: Jeremy Frisby and his wife Shaina of High Point, NC, two daughters: Holly Frisby Smith and her husband Joshua Smith of Thomasville, NC and Ruby Doris Frisby of the home, granddaughter: Graceleigh Renee Smith, mother: Doris McPeters Frisby of Sophia, brother: Roy Frisby and wife Robin of Trinity, NC, sister: Barbara Sue Schrimsher and husband Mike of Sophia, and brother Reeves Garrett Frisby and wife Joann of Asheboro. A memorial service will be Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Old Fashion Baptist Church, Richey Road, Denton with Rev. Frankie Royal and Rev. David Price officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and immediately after service at the church.
