Grayson Theodore King

Grayson Theodore King, age 82, of 7628 Old NC Hwy 13, Asheboro died Thursday, September 11, 2008 at Clapps Convalescent Nursing Home, Asheboro.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 13, 2008 at 2:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wyatt Hoogkamp officiating. Burial will be in High Pine Wesleyan Church Cemetery.

Mr. Grayson was a native of Randolph County and a Navy veteran of WWII. He attended Browers Chapel United Methodist Church and enjoyed working on the farm.

He is survived by his wife Hazel Robinson King; sons, Michael Steven King of Asheboro, NC, Curtis James King and his wife Jacquline of Asheboro, NC; brother, Max King and his wife Joanne of Asheboro, NC; grandchildren, Paige King of Asheboro, NC, Allison Macomber of NY, Katie King of Asheboro, NC, Kelly Roberts of Randleman, NC; 2 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Friday, September 12, 2008 from 6 - 8 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
