Grace Lee Cranford

Grace Burroughs Cranford, age 89, of Asheboro died Sunday, August 24, 2014 at Randolph Hospital. Mrs. Cranford was born May 12, 1925 in Montgomery Count to Johnnie and Della Harvell Burroughs. She was retired from Jockey International and attended Cool Springs Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cranford was preceded in death by her husband, Colon Cranford, brother, Arthur Burroughs and sisters, Pearlie Pugh, Irene Campbell, Eula Lowe, Trudell Richardson, Viola Campbell and Nannie Hunter. She is survived by her sisters, Marie Long and husband Junior of Franklinville, Effie Hutchens of Asheboro and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 26, 2014 from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. A graveside service will follow at 11:30 AM at Randolph Memorial Park, 4538 US Hwy 220 Bus. North, Asheboro with Rev. John Harman officiating. Memorials may be made to the Tommy M.
