Grace Altman Andrews

Grace Altman Andrews, age 65, of Asheboro died Saturday, March 8, 2014 at her home. Mrs. Andrews was born December 10, 1948 the daughter of Henry Herbert and Meta Allen Bryant Altman. Mrs. Andrews was a native of Guilford County and a graduate of Ragsdale High School. She was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church in Greensboro. Grace was formerly employed with Cramer Wood Products in Jamestown and retired from Prelude Foam Products in Thomasville. She is survived by her husband of 41 years: Billy Ray Andrews, daughter: Charity Handley and her husband, Patrick of Franklinville, three sons: Ray Andrews, Tim Andrews and Billy Andrews, Jr. and his wife, Yarling Karolina, all of Asheboro, five grandchildren: Danielle Rebecca Handley, Christy Marie Handley, Britany Renee Handley, Mia Carolina Andrews and Angelina Yarling Andrews. The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 11, 2014 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. Funeral services will be held be Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at 1:00 PM in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro with Rev. James Sweeney and Rev. Warren Sweeney officiating. Burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park, Greensboro.
