Goulda Pugh

Goulda Strider Pugh, age 73, of Franklinville died Saturday, June 7, 2008 at Wesley Long Community Hospital, Greensboro. Mrs. Pugh was born October 20, 1934 the daughter of Clayton and Delsie (Allred) Strider. Mrs. Pugh was a native of Danville, VA and a homemaker. She was an active member of Grays Chapel United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir. She is survived by her husband: Worth B. Pugh; son and his wife, Denny and Barbara Pugh of Greensboro, NC; daughter and her husband, Diana and Kenneth Proffit of Boone, NC The family will receive friends Monday, June 9, 2009, from 6-8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The funeral will be Tuesday, June 10, 2008, at 2:00 PM at Grays Chapel United Methodist Church, 5056 N.C. Hwy 22 North, Franklinville with Rev. Doug Miller and Rev. Tim Strider officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to Grays Chapel United Methodist Church, Choir Fund 5056 N.C. Hwy 22 North, Franklinville, NC 27248
