Gordon Hix Spencer

Gordon Hix Spencer, age 86, of Randleman died Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at his home. Mr. Spencer was born May 7, 1929 the son of Stanley and Ethel Bunting Spencer. Gordon was born in Sophia and a member of First Baptist Church, Randleman. He was the owner and operator of Spencer Masonry. He is survived by his wife: Jean K. Spencer, of the home; daughter: Catherine Tepper of Charlotte; son: Robert "Bobby" Spencer and his wife Sabrina of Denton; grandchildren: Harry Tepper, Anna Garcia, Alex Tepper, Molly Tepper, David Tepper, Ben Spencer, Jessica Hammer, Hank Spencer, and Luke Spencer; 7 great grandchildren; brother: Bruce Spencer of Sophia. A Graveside service will be held Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Randolph Memorial Park, 4538 US Hwy 220 Bus. North, Asheboro with Pastor Chris Heppding officiating.
