Gordon Curtis "Curt" Bodiford, Jr.

Gordon Curtis "Curt" Bodiford, Jr., age 74, of Asheboro passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at the Randolph Hospice House.

Mr. Bodiford was born in Lumberton, NC on June 17, 1943 to Gordon and Edith Perry Bodiford. He was formerly employed with Walker Shoe Company and was retired from Wal-Mart in Asheboro. In addition to his parents, Curt was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Marley Bodiford and brother, Kerry "Buddy" Bodiford.

He is survived by his daughters, Alisha "Shelly" Garner and husband Ken of Seagrove, Sherry B. Hill and husband Eddy of Denton; 5 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; sisters, Vera Bodiford of Lumberton, Peggy Eagan and husband Mike of Asheboro, Sherry Britt and husband Harrelson of Lumberton; and brother, Terry Bodiford of Lumberton.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 16, 2018 from 12:00-1:30 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. A graveside service will follow on Friday at 2:00 pm at Randolph Memorial Park, 4538 US Hwy 220 Bus. North, Asheboro with Dr. Bruce Dickerson officiating.
