Golda Lambert Wicker

Golda Lambert Wicker, age 81, of Randleman died Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Clapp's Convalescent Nursing Home, Asheboro. Mrs. Wicker was born March 1, 1932 in Thomasville, NC the daughter of Gary Lambert and Lillian Cox Lambert. A life-long resident of Randolph County, she was a member of Baileys Grove Baptist Church. Formerly employed by Belk's as a clothing model, she was a Home Health CNA and had worked several years in Textiles. She was predeceased by her husband Max Wicker in 2010. She is survived by her stepson, Lester "Jake" Wicker and his wife Donna of Randleman, NC; stepdaughters, Esther Marie Lewallen and her husband Tim of Flint Hill, NC; and Valerie Housand of Randleman, NC; 5 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. The family will receive friends Monday, December 23, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The funeral will be Tuesday at 10:00 AM at Bailey's Grove Baptist Church, 1556 N. Fayetteville Street, Asheboro with Pastor Jonathan Shook officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
