Golda Bray Callicutt

Golda Bray Callicutt, born March 9, 1930 in Randolph County, died Saturday, February 19, 2011 at Randolph Hospital in Asheboro. She was a 1947 graduate of Coleridge School a member of High Pine Wesleyan Church. Golda was very active in the family business, R & H Motor Lines, Inc., and was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, James Hoyt Callicutt and her parents, Robert Clint and Beulah Richardson Bray. She is survived by a loving family which includes her son and his wife, Robert Lathe and Jeannie Cooper Callicutt; son and his wife, Ralph Alan and Linda Cheshire Callicutt; son and his wife, Everett Hoyt and Cindy Kendrick Callicutt , all of Asheboro, NC; Grandchildren , Susan Callicutt McDuffie and her husband, Jeffery Alan McDuffie, Taylor Brooks Callicutt, Clinton Alan and his wife, Kasey Luther Callicutt, Zachary Trent Callicutt, Ethan Ralph Callicutt, Julia Newman Callicutt, and James Tanner Callicutt; Great grandchildren, Jordan Marie Mcduffie, Nicholas Lathe McDuffie, Reilly Marie McDuffie and Caiden Marie McDuffie, Sisters, Sarah Lou "Brownie" Moffitt and her husband William Lloyd Moffitt, Sr. and Barbara "Bobbie" Coble and her husband Wayne Coble of Ramseur, NC. The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The funeral will be held Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at 3:00 PM at High Pine Wesleyan Church, 4492 High Pine Church Rd., Asheboro with Pastor Wyatt Hoogkamp and Rev. George Simmons officiating. Burial will follow at Callicutt Memorial Church Cemetery. The family would like to express their deep appreciation to her caregivers, Cynthia Cole and Stacey Scotton.
