Mr. Glenn Marshall, 65 years old, passed away Saturday morning, August 29, 2009, at 1:15 am at Evergreens Senior Healthcare in Greensboro, NC. He had been in declining health since January, 2007. A memorial service for Glenn will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2009, at 2:00 pm at Monticello United Church of Christ, 5000 NC Highway 150 East, Browns Summit, NC, 27214 with Otis Durham, Jr. officiating. Glenn was born on September 15, 1943 in Carroll County, Virginia, the son of the late Stephen Edgar and Arizona Amanda Quesenberry Marshall of Laurel Fork, Virginia. He was the sixth of seven children. Glenn was employed by Advance Auto and retired from Duke Power Company. He had a tremendous zest for life and enjoyed meeting people; he was a person who never met a stranger. Glen was a member of Sons of Amvets in Asheboro, North Carolina, where he resided until August, 2007. Formerly, he had resided in both Greensboro and Burlington, North Carolina. Glenn is survived by two sons, Mr. Chris Marshall of Burlington North Carolina, and Mr. Todd Marshall, wife Melissa and grandchildren Mara, Morgan, Zach, and Macy Marshall, all of Oviedo, Florida. A brother, Mr. Marvin Hugh Marshall of Roanoke, Virginia, survives as well. Glenn was predeceased by his parents, two sisters (Mrs. Ethel Marshall Quesenberry, Mrs. Ovella "June" Durham) and three brothers (Mr. Charles E.
