Glenn "Harvey" Ingold, age 69, of Randleman died Saturday, February 14, 2015 at his home.
Mr. Ingold was born September 26, 1945 the son of Glenn Victor and Rona Ether Sanders Ingold.
Mr. Ingold was a native of Randolph County, a US Army Veteran and owner/operator of Harvey's Tire Service in Randleman for 35 years. Harvey was a Mason, member of Asheboro Lodge #699 and served the Randolph Shrine Club for many years. In addition to his parents Harvey is preceded in death by 5 sisters and 3 brothers.
He is survived by his wife: Lula "Doddie" Ingold; daughters: Crystal Gayle Reid and her fiancé Andrew Strimpel of Archdale and Jennifer Marie Lyndon and her partner Mark Laydon of Greensboro; step-son: Charles Jason Albright and wife April of Liberty; grandchildren: Christopher Glenn Scott Reid, Dillon Michael Reid and Hunter Lee Reid all of Archdale; Ashton Albright and Hailey Albright both of Liberty; sister: Flora Edith Thompson of Asheboro; several nieces and nephews and a very special K-9 friend named Boxie.
The family will receive friends on Monday, February 16, 2015 from 5:00-8:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street in Randleman. A graveside service to be held on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Randolph Memorial Park, 4538 US Hwy 220 Bus. North in Asheboro with Rev. Allen Camp officiating.
