Gladys Steed Trogdon

Gladys Steed "Peep" Trogdon, age 91, of 450 Mountain Top Dr., Apt. 117, Asheboro died Thursday, November 11, 2010 at Randolph Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 14, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Holder and Rev. George W. Roberson officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery. Mrs. Trogdon was a lifelong resident of Randolph County and was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, S.E. Trogdon, Jr., daughter, Sallie Trogdon Gallasch, and brother, Clarence C. "Bobbie" Steed, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Trogdon Weeks and her husband Steve V. Weeks of Lexington, NC; son, Samuel Joseph Trogdon and his wife Cindy Trogdon of Asheboro, NC; grandchildren, Caroline Weeks Ray and her husband Randall Ray, Stephen V. Weeks, Jr. and his wife Crissie H. Weeks, Jonathan S. Weeks and his wife Christa J. Weeks, Sara-Beth Trogdon, Kathryn "Katy" Trogdon, Spencer Gallasch, and Brandon Gallasch; great grandchildren, Cassidy Ray, Kendall Weeks, Harper Weeks, Colin Weeks, Evan Weeks, Asa French, Kellan Sutherlin and Ava Sutherlin; brother, Laurence L. Steed; sisters, Juanita Steed Beekmen and Frances S. Moffitt. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 14, 2010 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
