Gladys Mae Lambe

Gladys Mae Wilson Lambe, age 77, of 1319 Briarcliff Rd., Asheboro died Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at the Randolph Hospice House. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 30, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Union Grove Christian Church, 3985 Old NC Hwy 13, Asheboro with Rev. Garry L. Reeder officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Ms. Lambe was born in Randolph County on June 9, 1934 to Paul G. and Ruth Brown Wilson. She was a member of Union Grove Christian Church and was formerly employed with Wal-Mart in Asheboro. In addition to her parents, Gladys was preceded in death by her son Don Lambe and her brother Farrell Wilson. She is survived by her daughter, Gerri Britt and her husband Freddy of Asheboro, NC; grandson, Steve Britt and his wife Terri of Asheboro, NC; and great granddaughter, Gracie Britt of Asheboro, NC. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 29, 2012 from 6:30-8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O.
