Gladys Johnson Hudson

Gladys Johnson Hudson, age 84, of Asheboro died Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at Randolph Health & Rehabilitation, Asheboro. Mrs. Hudson was born September 16, 1927 in Randolph County, NC to Joseph L. and Corinna Graves Johnson. She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church of Franklinville and retired from Klopman Mills/Burlington Industries after 35 years of service. In addition to her parents and six brothers and sisters, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred J. Hudson and daughter Kaye H. Luck. She is survived by her son, Chuck Hudson and his wife Bonnie of Mt. Pleasant, SC; grandchildren, Steve Luck of Asheboro, Shae Glenn of Raymore, KS, Zach Hudson of Charlotte, Parker Hudson of Greenville, SC; 5 step-grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Thursday, May 24, 2012 from 6 to 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 25, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Bethany United Methodist Church with Rev. Russell Brownsworth officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
