Gladys Martin Burch, age 89, formerly of Asheboro, NC, died Monday, September 1, 2008 in Chelsea, AL. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 5, 2008 at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church, 133 North Church Street, Asheboro with Dr. John S. Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery, Asheboro. Mrs. Burch was a native of Liberty, NC and was a homemaker. She was an active member of First Baptist Church in Asheboro. She is survived by her daughter, Eloise Martin of Chelsea, AL and 4 grandchildren.
