Gisela Dillenburg Hogsed

Gisela Dillenburg Hogsed, age 71, of 782 Holly Grove Dr., Randleman died Thursday, March 24, 2011 at her home. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 27, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor O. Ralph Kraft, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery. Mrs. Hogsed was a native of Trier, Mosel, Germany, was retired from Acme-McCrary Corporation, and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. She is survived by her husband, Marvin Hogsed; son, Gregory M. Hogsed of Asheboro, NC; daughter, Helga Maria Simeone and her husband Alan of Durham, NC; daughter-in-law, Sharon Hogsed of Randleman, NC; granddaughter, Savannah Hogsed; sisters, Helga Faust of Trier, Germany, Ursula Muller of Frankfurt, Germany, and Marianne Camenzind of Switzerland. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 27, 2011 from 12:30-2:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The family would like to express a special thanks to Dr. James Granfortuna of Moses Cone Cancer Center, all of the doctors at Duke Medical Center and to Hospice of Randolph County for all the special care they provided.
