Ginger Nelson Lee, age 49, of 200 S. Bunker Hill Rd., Colfax died Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, Winston- Salem.
Ginger lived in Guilford County and was a member of Shady Grove Wesleyan Church. She was a paramedic for 18 years and most recently was employed as a Medical Examiner transporter. She loved her family, her children, helping people and her church. During her free time, Ginger enjoyed having cook-outs and gardening. She was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Nelson.
She is survived by her husband, David Lee; daughter, Faith Lee of the home; son, David Lee, Jr. of the home; mother, Mary Nelson of Colfax; sister, Karen Faircloth and her husband Jeff of High Point; brothers, Michael Nelson and his wife Peggy of Colfax, Tracy Nelson and his wife Oneida of Summerfield; nieces, Katie, Elissa, McKenna and Lauren Nelson.
The family will receive friends Saturday, May 19, 2012 from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. at Shady Grove Wesleyan Church, 119 S. Bunker Hill Rd., Colfax. A celebration of life will follow at 4:00 pm with Rev. Phil Kirkman, Rev. Sam White, and Rev. Tony Parsons officiating.
