Gerard Stephen Cosmanic, age 86, of 945 South Church St., Asheboro died Sunday, December 4, 2011 at his home. He is survived by his nieces, Lotte Antoinette De Roy Van Zuydewijn of Asheboro, Dolly De Roy Van Zuydewijn and her husband Daniel of Portugal. Uncle Jerry is a most extraordinary person and now is not hampered by his handicap and has taken with him all that he has learned with the exceptional capabilities he developed in response to his situation.
