Georgia Scarlata

Georgia Christenson Scarlata passed away Sunday September 14th at Crossroads Retirement Center. She was born in 1921 in Jamaica, New York, the daughter of Frank and Edna Christenson and was married to the late Dr. Salvatore Scarlata. She is survived by Vincent and Joan Scarlata, of Cabot, Arkansas, and Paul Scarlata of Asheboro, Georgina Scarlata and Michael Wellmeier of Arlington, Virginia and grandsons Wyatt and Silas Scarlata of Banner Elk, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her siblings Norma, Anne, Frank and Tom and her son John. Memorials can be made to Community Home Care & Hospice, 533 South Fayetteville St., Asheboro, NC 27203.
