Georgia Wrape Howell passed away peacefully on February 26, 2019, at the Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro, NC after a brief illness.
She was born on February 3, 1930 in Rockingham, NC to the late Grace McRae Wrape and Marvin Wrape. She follows her husband Bruce Howell into the arms of her Savior.
Georgia is survived by her nieces and nephews and their families, children of her late sister, Mary Charles Butler and grand-children of her late sister, Elizabeth Ratliff, as well as her dear cousin Betty Jean Eaddy.
She lived most of her life in Asheboro. She was a member of Gravel Hill Baptist Church and worked as an administrative assistant at Central United Methodist Church for many years. Georgia cherished her faith and her family. After her beloved husband, Bruce, passed away she showed her strength, resolve and heart in her witness to others. She leaves us with memories of her spirit and love.
A graveside service will be held at Eastside Memorial Cemetery in Rockingham, NC on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at 2:00 pm. Her nephew, Rev. John Butler, will officiate.
