George Henry Wright

George Henry Wright, age 85, of 1923 Summey Town Rd., Trinity died Thursday, January 10, 2008 at High Point Regional Hospital. Funeral service will be held Sunday, January 13, 2008 at 2:00 pm at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Joe Yates officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Cross Christian Church Cemetery with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard. Mr. Wright was a native of Randolph County and a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. He was a member of Jackson Creek Baptist Church and was retired from B. B. Walker Company after 35 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Clara Pierce Wright; sisters, Pauline King, Jessie Mae Weaver and Alline Wright all of Asheboro, NC; nieces and nephews, Herman, Morona and Henry Allred, Jimmy, Tommy, Bobby and Faye Keeling, Margaret Ann, Martha, Phyllis, Joyce, Buck, Raeford, Tommy, Jesse and David Coley, Jimmy, Donald, Wanda and Van Weaver, Vickie and Carol McMasters. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 12, 2008 from 6 - 8 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
