Gary "Mike" Michael Edwards

Gary Michael "Mike" Edwards, age 57, of Trinity died Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at High Point Regional Hospital, High Point. Mr. Edwards was born April 9, 1957 the son of Charles and Sarah Elizabeth Gibson Edwards. Mike was a native of Randolph County and was the owner of Mike Edwards Drywall. He was known in the community for his cheerful personality. He is survived by his wife: Betty Barnes Edwards of the home; four daughters: Amanda Edwards Whatley and her husband Doyle of Sophia, Keisha Edwards Shaw and her husband Bobby of Asheboro, Bonnie Edwards Cagle of Asheboro, and Kim Hunsucker and her companion Tammy of Sophia; sisters: Charlene Trotter and her husband Wade of Randleman and their son Roland "Rooster" Trotter, Connie Edwards Cole of Randleman and her fiance Tony Richardson; brothers: John David Elkes and his wife Judy of Randleman and Howard Elkes of Randleman; grandchildren, Tanner Mikal Edwards-Hockaday, Madison Danielle Edwards-Hockaday, Ella Whatley, Kelsey Lee Walters, Michael Cody Edwards, Alanah Shae McKenzie, Adrianna Burleson, Breanna Small, Laura Nicole Whatley and Rosa Mlachik; great grandchildren, Angel, Alicia, and Eli Whatley; canine companions, "Boys" Little, and Ram Ram, "Girls" Rox. The family will receive friends Friday, January 30, 2015 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm in the Chapel with Rev. Bill Barnes officiating. Burial will be at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
