Gary Mel Hodge

Gary Mel Hodge, age 51, of 1798 Panther Creek Road, Asheboro died Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at 2:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Lee Ellis officiating. Burial will be in South Plainfield Friends Meeting Cemetery. Mr. Hodge was a native of Baltimore, Maryland and a Christian. He was employed with Cox Motor Lines in Greensboro and formerly employed with Ramtex and Burlington Industries. He is survived by parents, Clifford and Peggy Hodge of Baltimore, MD; sisters, Vicki Fain of Baltimore, MD, Teresa Lyons of Belton, TX; brothers, Rodney Paul Hodge of Sophia, NC, Clifford Gaston Hodge, Jr. of Wilmington, NC, Gilbert Terry Hodge and Jimmy Hodge both of Asheboro, NC. The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 28, 2008 from 6 - 8 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
