Gary Orian "Buddy" Duncan

Gary Orian “Buddy” Duncan, age 52, of Trinity passed away on Monday, March 5, 2018 at his home.

Mr. Duncan was born in Baltimore, MD on December 20, 1965 to Billy Richard and Brenda Gaynell Wright Duncan.  He was a 1983 graduate of Eastern Randolph High School and served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps.  Gary was retired from the NC Department of Public Safety after 30 years of service.  He was a member of a Masonic Lodge in Lexington, NC.  In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his brother, Mike “Cotton” Duncan.

He is survived by his fiancée, Dana Leonard Eaves of the home; sons, Robert Duncan and girlfriend Amanda Brown of Franklinville, Tyler Eaves of the home, and Korbyn Duncan of Lexington; half sisters, Donna Mcie of Lumberton and Jenny Duncan of Whiteville and half brothers, Billy Richard Duncan, Jr. of Hallsboro and David Alan Duncan of Whiteville.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 8, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 9, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jeff Walser officiating.  Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Park with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard.
