Gary Wayne Boggs

Gary Wayne Boggs, age 62, of 831 Powhatan Ave., Asheboro died Monday, February 6, 2012 at his home. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at 5:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Ave., Asheboro. The family will receive friends following the service until 8:00 pm. Mr. Boggs was born January 22, 1950 in Asheboro to Fletcher and Grace Frye Boggs. He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam Conflict and was of the Methodist faith. Mr. Boggs was retired from Paul Thomas Tire in Asheboro. He is survived by his wife, Elaine H. Boggs; sister, Lee Carnish of Asheboro and brother, Michael Boggs of Rock Hill, SC.
