Garland Dale Bowman

Garland "Dale" Bowman, age 67, of 2840 WOW Road, Randleman died Sunday, July 22, 2012 at Clapps Convalescent Nursing Home, Asheboro. Mr. Bowman was born February 18, 1945 in Asheboro, the son of Norman Lee and Vivian Whitt Bowman. Dale was a member of Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church of Randleman and retired from Auto Supply of Asheboro, presently employed with Stewart Bowman Auto Center of Asheboro. He was a diehard Duke fan and enjoyed all sports. Loved to bowl and play golf. In addition to Dale's parents he is preceded in death by his daughter, Lori Michele Bowman. He is survived by one sister: Cindy Keeling and her husband Jimmy of Asheboro; two brothers: Randy Johnson and his wife Joan of Julian, and Jeff Chamberlain and his wife Kristi of Randleman; niece: Amy Crutchfield of Staley; nephews: James Page and his wife Danielle of Daytona Beach, FL., Jonathan Johnson and his wife Allison of Greensboro, Dustin Lohr and Josh Lohr both of Randleman; many great nieces and nephews; Mr. Bowman's Dog, Daisy and Cat, Nike. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street in Randleman and other times at the home of his brother Jeff, 117 Shaw St., Randleman. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday. July 25, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Randolph Memorial Park, 4538 US Hwy 220 Bus. North, Asheboro with Rev. Scott Kidd officiating.
