Gail York

Gail Stein York, age 68, of 3224 Richey Rd., Denton died Sunday, October 31, 2010 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at 11:00 am at New Hope Memorial Gardens. Gail was formerly employed with Matlab and was retired from Pugh Funeral Home after 13 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ivory and Kenny Stein, sisters, Barbara Parris, Geneva Metzler and brother, Kenneth Stein. She is survived by sons, Kenny Ray (Butch) York and his wife Deb of Asheboro, Tim D. York and his wife Sarah of Siler City, Tony Ray York and his fiancee, Mindy McPherson of Asheboro; grandchildren, Jonathan, Timothy, Abney, Lane Jessica, Matthew and Brandon; sister, Peggy Vandiver of Denton; brother, Jim Stein of Troy, VA. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 2, 2010 from 6 to 8 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, and other times at the home of Kenny and Deb York.
