Fred Wayne Pell

Fred Wayne Pell, age 85, of Randleman died Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. Mr. Pell was born February 11, 1930 the son of James Reid and Ellie Kivett Pell. Fred is a native of Randolph County and retired from B.B Walker Shoe Company in Asheboro. In addition to his parents Fred is preceded in death by his wife Charlene Hinshaw Pell, sister, Ocho Scott, and brother John Pell. He is survived by his step-daughter, Linda Trogdon and her husband Jim of Randleman; sister: Martha Hinesley of Coleridge; brother: Jimmy Pell and his wife Emily of Asheboro; step grandchildren: James Trogdon, III of Asheboro, Randy Trogdon of Randleman, and Cindy Hardister and her husband James of Randleman; 5 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Thursday, October 22, 2015 from 6 to 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral service will be held Friday, October 23, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 600 South Main Street, Randleman with Malcom Laughlin officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Spring Friends Meeting Cemetery, 2938 Holly Springs Rd., Ramseur. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to donors choice.
