Fred Edward Eaker, Sr.

Fred Edward Eaker, Sr. age 53, died Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at Carolinas Medical Center Northeast in Concord, NC. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 24, 2011 at 1:00 pm at Central Carolina Community Church (C-4) with Rev. Edward J. Arroyo officiating. Mr. Eaker was a native of Idaho and was a graduate of UNC-Charlotte. He was employed with Unilever and Malt-O-Meal of Asheboro. Fred was a member of Central Carolina Community Church (C-4), where he played in the Praise and Worship Band. He was preceded in death by his brother Billy Eaker. He is survived by his wife, Sherri Eaker; sons, Fred Eaker, Jr. and his wife Dana of Morrisville, NC, A.J. Eaker and his wife Dana of Stokesdale, NC; parents, Fred and Jackie Eaker of Hampton, VA; brothers, Arthur Eaker of Newport News, VA, Roger Eaker and his wife Terry of Chesterfield, VA; sister, Mickey Thornburg and her life partner Ron Hoffmann of Annapolis, MD; aunt, Gloria Eaker of Rockville, MD; nephews, Ryan, Daniel, and Jeremy Eaker; and niece, Rachel Eaker. The family will receive friends Friday, June 24, 2011 from 12:00-1:00 pm at the church.
