Fred Brown

Fred Brown, age 80, of Randleman passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Randolph Hospice House. Mr. Brown was born in Moore County on December 23, 1939 to Vester Lawrence and Macy Ruth Comer Brown. Fred served his country in the U.S. Army. He was formerly employed in tree service and as a truck driver. Fred was a believer in Christ and loved listening to Gospel music and preaching. He is survived by his sisters, Janie Wilson of Taylorsville, Eva Hussey of Asheboro, and Diane Hayworth of Asheboro; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; and his grandfriend, Jennifer "Jenny" Hemric. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Mt. Zion Wesleyan Church Cemetery, 445 Mt. Zion Church Road in Seagrove with Rev. John Frazier officiating with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard. Memorials may be made to Hospice f Randolph, 416 Vision Dr., Asheboro, NC 27203.
