Fred William Boles, Sr., age 70, of 5888 Racine Rd., Randleman died Friday, April 26, 2013 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. Mr. Boles was born November 24, 1942 the son of Charlie and Myrtice Boles. Mr. Boles was a native of Richmond County and served in the US Army for 24 years. His love of Duty and Country achieved him the rank of Sgt. First Class. Fred was a retired teamsters union member and a truck driver for 42 years. He was an avid golfer and loved to fish. The grandchildren were the apple of his eye and came first with him. He is survived by his wife: Kay Proveaux Boles, of the home; sons: Fred William Boles, Jr. of Greensboro, Charles Martin Boles of Randleman and Gregory Alan Boles and his wife Sonja Woods of Dubugue, IA; grandchildren, Austin Alexander Boles, Kaylin McKenna Boles and Rorie Malnne Boles; brothers: Kenneth Martin Boles and his wife Lisa Curlee of Burnsville, NC, and David Winfred Boles and his wife Sara King of Taylorsville, NC; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Sunday, April 28, 2013 from 6 to 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral will be held Monday, April 29, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 600 South Main Street, Randleman with Rev. Craig Peak officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro. Online condolences may be made at pughfuneralhome.com.
