Fred Marvin Blakeley

Fred Marvin Blakeley, Sr., age 88, of Randleman died Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at Randolph Health & Rehabilitation, Asheboro.

Mr. Blakeley was born July 22, 1930 the son of James and Lalah Blakeley. Fred was a native of Sanford, NC and was a retired truck driver. He enjoyed fishing, watching NASCAR, and growing a bounty in his garden. In addition to his parents, Fred is preceded in death by his wife of 71 years, Edna Coley Blakeley, son, Danny Blakeley, daughter, Debbie B. Hall, brothers, Jack and Herman Blakeley.

He is survived by two sons: James Blakeley and wife Peggy of Greensboro and Freddie Blakeley and wife Debbie of Randleman; 6 grandchildren; sisters: Lucille Campbell, Helen Kelley, Marie Key and Faye Adams.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Center United Methodist Church Cemetery, 4141 South Plank Road, Sanford with Pastor Greg Creed officiating.
