Franklin Scott Spivey

Franklin "Frankie" Scott Spivey, age 46, of 715 Dennis St., Troy died Monday, February 4, 2008 at FirstHealth Montgomery Memorial Hospital, Troy, NC. Frankie was born June 26, 1961 at Troy, NC, the son of the late Robey Cecil and Ruby Louise (Latham) Spivey. He was a self-employed painter. He was preceded in death by a brother, Timothy Mark Spivey. In addition to his mother, he survived by his girl friend of 13 years, Laketa Wilhoit of the home; two daughters: Jennifer Ann Spivey of Biscoe and Rebecca Suzanne Spivey of the home; two sons: Phillip Scott Spivey of Biscoe and Robey Scott Spivey of the home; three sisters: Patsy Louise Varner of Robedo, Demetrice Eubanks of Lexington and Paula Faye Spivey of Albemarle; three brothers: Richard Cecil Spivey of Biscoe, Paul Ray Spivey and Rodney Lynn Spivey, both of Candor; granddaughter: Sy-Nyah Elaine Spivey of Biscoe; grandson: Phillip Adams Spivey of Eldorado; step-sister, Lucille Costin of Wilmington. The family will receive friends Friday from 1:00-2:45pm at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Troy; other times at the home. A graveside service will be held Friday at 3:00 pm at Southside Cemetery, S. Main St., Troy with Rev. Richard Lynthacum officiating. Arrangements by Pugh-Troy Funeral Home
