Franklin Delano Brown, Sr.

Franklin Delano Brown, Sr., age 69, of 2772 Herman's Old Place, Hamptonville, NC died Sunday, December 23, 2007 at Forsyth Memorial Hospital, Winston- Salem, NC. Mr. Brown was born February 12, 1938 in Welch, W. VA the son of Eugene F. and Alma P. Wooten Brown. A retired coal miner, Mr. Brown was a member of Worthville Baptist Church in Randleman. He is preceded in death by his wife Barbara Parks Brown and son Franklin Delano Dee Brown, Jr. He is survived by four daughters: Debra Leach of Seagrove, NC, Wanda Wright and Lugene Acord both of Asheboro, NC, Susan Carter of Lexington, NC and one son: Glenn Whitey Brown of Randleman, NC, one brother: Eugene Brown of Warren Cliff, WV, 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren A private memorial service will be held later in West Virginia.
