Frank Woods Morgan

Frank Woods Morgan, age 90, of 450 Mountain Top Dr., Asheboro, NC died Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at Randolph Hospital in Asheboro. Mr. Morgan was formerly of Richmond, VA. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church, Richmond, VA with Rev. Michael Pottschmidt and Rev. Phillip Breuning officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery with military honors. Mr. Morgan was a native of Brooklyn, NY and grew up in Baldwin, NY. He was a US Army Air Corp veteran of WWII and a member of Richmond VFW Post 6364. Mr. Morgan was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Richmond and was very active with Social Services in Henrico County, VA. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Marjorie E. Snugg Morgan and his parents, Joseph C. and Mary Francis Woods Morgan. He is survived by his daughters, Karen Burhman of Asheboro, NC, Kelly Blake Morgan of Evanston, IL; son, Kevin P. Morgan of Chester, VA; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 2315 N. Parham Rd., Richmond, VA 23229.
