Frank Marsh

Harvey Franklin Marsh, age 74, of 2075 Cedar Rd. #16, Asheboro died Thursday, February 17, 2011 at Randolph Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 21, 2011 at 12:00 noon at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rodney Vickers officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park. Mr. Marsh was a native of Wadesboro and a longtime resident of Randolph County. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Henderson Marsh. He was retired from J.P. Stevens and was employed at Ready Mart up until his death. Frank was an avid sports fan and golfer, loved playing golf with his sons and great grandson, and loved the beach. He loved all of his children and especially his great grandchildren. Frank was a loving father and grandfather and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his daughter, Deborah Lockamy and her fiancé Eddie Little of Asheboro, NC; sons, Harvey Franklin Marsh, Jr. and his wife Angie of Thomasville, NC, Richard Dale Marsh of Randleman, NC, Timothy Todd Marsh and his wife Jeanette of Franklinville, NC; daughter, Delores Ann Marsh and her fiancé Bobby Clayton of Asheboro, NC; step daughter, Mandy Wall of Randleman, NC, step son, Jamie Wall of Randleman, NC; 13 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren; sisters, Lois Wilson of Randleman, NC, Rachel Vickers and her husband Ronnie of Randleman, NC, Jean Turner and her husband Joel of Randleman, NC, Pat McNeil and her husband Eugene of Randleman, NC. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 20, 2011 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
