Frank Edward Hamilton

Frank Edward Hamilton, age 80, of 139 Haithcock St, Troy died Monday, April 25, 2011 at Autumn Care Nursing & Rehabilitation, Biscoe. Mr. Hamilton was born June 16, 1930 in Montgomery County, NC, the son of Dan and Lucy Hulin Hamilton. He was self employed in the lumber business. He is survived by his wife: Betty Deberry Hamilton of the home; two daughters: Kay Medlin of Richfield, Sarah Dunn of Mt. Gilead, and one son: Larry Hamilton of Mt. Gilead; two sisters: Frances Malloy of Greensboro and Aileen Deberry of Garner; one brother, Glenn Hamilton of Troy; seven grandchildren: Gary Hamilton, Kent Medlin, Kelly Thompson, Brandy Medlin, Alex Medlin, Austin Dunn and Justin Dunn; 10 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home, 211 North Main Street, Troy, NC. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2:00 pm at Love Joy United Methodist Church, Substation Rd, Troy with Rev. Ron Hamilton and Rev. Kevin Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Love Joy United Methodist Church Cemetery, Troy. Memorials may be made to Community Home Care and Hospice, 120 N.
