Frank Davis

James Frank Davis, age 86, of 155 Small Rd., Randleman died Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro. Mr. Davis was a native of Guilford County and served 6 years as a US Marine. He was a member of the Pearl Harbor Survivor Association, Randolph County Honor Guard and Randleman VFW. Mr. Davis retired from Sears Roebuck and Company. He is survived by his wife: Viola W. Davis. Two sons: Herb and wife Nancy Davis of Randleman and Carl Davis of Asheboro. Two daughters: Ellyn and husband Bill Stott of Union Mills, NC, and Jane and husband Chris Crotts of Sophia. Six grandchildren, Megan Davis, Ben Crotts, Caitlin Davis, Beth Fenesterer, Joey Stott and Michelle Stott; Three great grandchildren, Carrie, Taylor and Jada. One sister: Ruby Tickle of Randleman. The family will receive friends Thursday, November 1, 2007 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 S. Main St., Randleman, NC. The funeral will be held Friday, November 2, 2007 at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Robert Shaw officiating.
