RANDLEMAN - Frank William Clark, age 48, of Randleman, NC crossed peacefully into Heaven on March 9, 2019 to be with his Lord and Savior. He was surrounded by his loving wife of nearly 18 years, his son, whom was his pride and joy, his pastor, and his Linthicum family that loved and adored him.
Mr. Clark was born in Oswego, NY on August 25, 1970 to William F. Clark and the late Joan M. Clark. Frank served in the U.S. Army for 8 years. Not being a fan of cold weather, Frank headed south and started work at Thomasville Furniture. His first day on the job, he met Christian Linthicum, the woman he'd later call his wife. Together, they had one son, Alexander Clark. Frank was a loving husband and a great father. His family meant everything to him.
Frank was employed as a detention officer for the Randolph County Sheriff's Office for the last 4 years. Frank took pride in his work and treated everyone with respect. Frank was a huge Syracuse fan, loved his dog (Jed), playing on his tablet, traveling, playing practical jokes, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
Frank is survived by his wife; Christian Linthicum Clark, son; Alexander William Clark, father; William "Bill" Clark, Sr., sisters; Pam Nobis (Mike), JoAnn Treasure (Keith), Sally Garrison and Ann Lehtonen (Scott), brothers; Billy Clark. (Donna), Peter Clark (Deb) and Richard Mace.
In addition to his mother, Frank is preceded in death by his sister, Marjorie Faber.
The funeral service will take place at Level Cross Baptist Church, where Frank was a member, 10169 US Hwy 220 Bus. North, Randleman with Jerry Mills and Scott Hyatt officiating. The service will be Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at 2pm. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends in the church sanctuary immediately following the burial.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Frank's honor to Level Cross Christian School, 10169 US-220 BUS, Randleman, NC 27317 or SECU Family House in Winston-Salem, 1970 Baldwin Ln, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
