Frances Vioila Page Strider

Frances Vioila Page Strider, age 86, of Asheboro passed on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at Randolph Hospital. Mrs. Strider was born in Robbins, NC on November 5, 1929 to Oscar and Lessie Davis Page. She was employed in the textile industry for many years and retired from Bossong Hosiery. She was a loving and kind person to all who knew her. In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Waymon Clarence Strider, brother, Oscar Page, Jr., and sister, Nanny Lou Ritter. She is survived by her sisters, Beatrice Davis of Asheboro, Carrie Peterson of Archdale; niece and caregiver, Sherry Latham and husband Terry of Asheboro; nieces, Rita Apple and husband Neil and their family of Seagrove, Patricia Neese and husband Eddie and their family of Asheboro, Brenda Bryant and her family of Asheboro; Carolyn Sue Garner of Arizona; and nephews, Tom Peterson and Carlos Peterson both of Archdale, Jerry Ritter and wife Jan of Climax, and Larry Ritter and wife Donna of Fairfield, TX. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Center Cross Baptist Church Cemetery, 1789 Center Cross Church Rd., Asheboro with Pastor Grant Hoffman officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O. Box 9, Asheboro, NC 27204-0009.
