Frances Anne Luck Redding of Asheboro passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Hospice House in Asheboro, NC.
Frances was born in Randolph County on January 19, 1935.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roland and Lena Cole Luck and two brothers, Ray Luck and Bob Luck.
She was a member of Flag Springs United Methodist Church and was retired from the Randolph County Department of Social Services. She was a loving wife, remarkable mother and doting grandmother. She loved the beach and Christmas. She was a fantastic cook.
She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Dennis Redding, one daughter, Dianne Lucas Sturdivant (Ricky) of Siler City, NC and one son, Terry Lucas (Jean) of Asheboro, NC. Three grandchildren, Ryan Sturdivant (Allison) of Charlotte, Whitney Sturdivant of Siler City and Kendall Wade of Greensboro. Three great-grandsons, Ethan, Noah and Asher. One brother, Bill Luck of Asheboro, NC.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday March 18, 2015 from 2:30-4:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home.
Funeral will follow at 4:00 pm in the funeral home Chapel with Rev. Barry L. Queen officiating.
Burial will be in Flag Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery, Asheboro, NC.
