Frances Louise Moffitt

Frances Louise Walker Moffitt, age 86, of 1678 Spero Rd., Asheboro died Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Mrs. Moffitt was born December 28, 1925 the daughter of Carl and Lena Steed Walker. Mrs. Moffitt was a native of Randolph County and graduated as Salutatorian from Asheboro High School, Class of 1942. She worked for many years with GE and Black & Decker as a plant floor worker, switch-board operator, and in the personnel and accounting department. She was, in years past, actively involved in Calvary United Methodist Church. She enjoyed square dancing, traveling and trips to the beach. She is survived by her husband: Jesse Moffitt; son and his wife: Mike and Debbie Moffitt of Swansboro, NC; granddaughter: Megan K. Moffitt; twin granddaughter and grandson: Lisa and Kevin Moffitt all of Swansboro, NC. The family will receive friends Friday, May 4, 2012 from 10:00-11:00AM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The funeral will be Friday, May 4, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
