Frances Orene Dutton McCain, age 96, formerly of Asheboro died Friday, August 15, 2014 at her daughter's home in Midland NC. Mrs. McCain was born June 1, 1918 at Groseclose, VA the daughter of Marion Jackson and Virgie Estelle Snavely Dutton. Mrs. McCain was retired from Centel Telephone in Asheboro. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church and preceded in death by her husband, Ray McCain. She is survived by one daughter: Helen Bowman of Midland, NC; son: Charles Clark of Germantown, TN; 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren; sister: Evelyn Pierce brother: Jack Dutton. The family will receive friends Monday, August 18, 2014 from 9:30-10:00 AM at Charlotte United Methodist Church, 1182 Charlotte Church Rd., Asheboro, NC. The funeral will follow at 10:00 at Charlotte United Methodist Church, 1182 Charlotte Church Rd., Asheboro with Rev. Tommy Robertson officiating.Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
